The problem with summer is that it makes things grow. Heck, in the last week, I’ve found at least five new leaves to turn over. They’d account for my:

There’s no denying that I like getting comments on my blog posts. Who wouldn’t? I get my ego stroked, learn who I’ve pissed off, and generally carry on a conversation with a few select folk without all that pesky eye contact and body language getting in the way.
However.
I’ve been deluged. And not, I’ll note here in a rather whiny type face, from any of you. Which is only fair, considering the pretty fair lack of writing I’ve been doing myself. Rather, I’ve been hit hard by the spammers.
At it’s peak, I got nailed by more than 60 spam comments in one day. Ironically, many of those comments were posted here.
